Rivi Litvin

Rivi is a third generation Israeli who has been living in the United States since 1979.

She was brought up and schooled as an Orthodox Jewess. After leaving home, she joined the Israeli army and served in one of the few Women’s Fighting Units during the Six-Day War of 1967.

After years of searching for the truth, she arrived at L’Abri in Switzerland, the home of Dr. and Mrs. Francis Schaeffer. Under the spiritual guidance of Dr. Schaeffer, Rivi learned and embraced a deeper appreciation of faith that was newly illuminated through Dr. Schaeffer’s teachings.

Thereafter, accompanied by her two children, Rivi came to the United States where she studied for her B.A degree in ministry and her M.A in social work at Melodyland School of Theology Seminary.

In 1981 she married Danny, a long-time friend from L’Abri. Shortly after they were led to establish an educational organization that taught the connection of Christian-Judeo relationships and a deeper, intricate knowledge of the Bible in it’s correct context.

H.I.M. began in the United States, and by the mid 90s had three locations internationally, including locations in the UK and an educational center in Israel.

Rivi is considered a top authority on Biblical history and Jewish studies. She has given thousands of lectures over the years, touring world-wide on four different continents, teaching at churches of every denomination, groups, as well as world-renowned schools such as the Bible College of Wales and many others. She has coordinated teaching events for hundreds of people. She has written four books, two of which are currently in the editing stages and shortly after will be published. Rivi’s research and work is truly invaluable as many people will testify that her deep significance on their lives as a spiritual leader and educator.
