Seminars Offered

Our seminars center around two broad areas of concern:
1. Biblical studies from a Jewish perspective.
2. The place of Israel in God's plan.

The approximate time for each seminar is given in the listing below. The longer seminars are often divided up into various time arrangements sometimes stretching over a number of day.

  • The Jewish Roots of the Bible
One of our most popular seminars, highly recommended for churches. This seminar provides a valuable introduction to the entire subject of the Jewish roots of Christianity.

We present this seminar in three sections that include Jewish articles, many which appear in the pages of the New Testament, in-depth explanation of Jewish literature, (including the Talmud, Targum and Midrash,) as well as a look at the Jewish sects during the first century.

    Seminar Length: approximately 27 hours

  • The Shabbat – The Sabbath
Truly, this is one of the most important institutions God created in the Bible. Kept by both Jesus and his followers, it is one of the subjects most often discussed in the New Testament . Studying the Shabbat and its importance in our life is an essential tool to understanding the Bible better.

    Seminar Length: approximately 15 hours

  • Galatians
A study on the Epistle to the Galatians. Includes an in-depth treatment on the subjects of law and grace. A must for the better understanding of the New Testament.

    Seminar Length: approximately 12 hours

  • The Shekinah – The Glory of God
An old fashioned Bible study that covers all the references to the Shekinah in the Bible and the New Testament. Receive enlightenment as we travel from Genesis to Revelation and explore the many references. A true eye opener of the meaning and the functions of the Shekinah.

    Seminar Length: approximately 4 Hours

  • The Book Of Jonah
An in-depth study of the actions of Jonah as he attempts to do the impossible – avoid God.

    Seminar Length: approximately 12 hours

  • The Gifts of God
A one-day seminar on the motivational gifts of God mentioned in I Corinthians 12. The seminar provides an intricate understanding concerning the innermost makings of people, their behavior, and the reason for our variations in character. This is a true aid to help you better your relationships as you will learn how different people perceive each other based on their God given gift which is the axis of our being.

And find out what your gift is! A gift test is available as well, followed by a scoring, evaluation and counseling session. The session must be scheduled privately with each participant. Over the course of 30 years thousands of people have participated in this seminar and have been tested. We have received enormous amounts of positive feedback on the change in their lives that followed.

  • Jesus' Exposition on the Torah
Otherwise known as "The Sermon on the Mount:" An in-depth look at Matthew chapters 5-7 and its parallel record in Luke. This includes many of the Jewish theological concepts of the time. To fully grasp Jesus' teachings, we must understand his words the way his disciples did, and the best way to do this is with the knowledge of the culture, customs and teachings of his day.

    Seminar Length: 27 hours

  • Life of Jesus
One of our most-booked seminars. This contains parts and excerpts of our 300 hour long CD series on The Life of Jesus from a Jewish perspective. It sheds light on many of the incidents recorded in the Gospels as we follow Jesus' journey from birth to crucifixion and beyond. Receive insights into many of the first-century Jewish idioms, customs, theology, and practices.

As this series is exceptionally long, it is commonly booked in segments. To receive a list of possible choices, please contact our office.

  • The Trial of Jesus
This fascinating seminar covers the arrest of Jesus, the ensuing investigation by Annas, the examination before Caiaphas and the trial before Pilate. Through all of this we take into account the Jewish judicial laws as they were practiced in the first century.

    Seminar Length: 10 hours

  • The Biblical Holidays
A collection of mini lectures, each dealing with one of the "Feasts of the Lord" ordained by God in the Tanach (Old Testament). Through these presentations we seek to provide Christians with a better understanding of the cultural and spiritual heritage of the Jewish people. As each of these feasts are mentioned in the New Testament, and Yeshua celebrated them, understanding them fully sheds much light on the different passages of the Gospels. The feasts are definitely relevant to all believers today.

Depending on the needs of your group and the time available, presentations can be made on one specific festival, or else several may be combined into an extended seminar.

Seminar Length: covering one feast generally takes about 60 minutes.

    The Feasts are:

    • Rosh Hashanah
      The Jewish New Year

    • Yom Kippur
      The Day of Atonement

    • Succot
The Feast of Tabernacles is the third of the High Holy Days. It is associated with the coming of the Messiah and the establishing of his kingdom, thus marking it as a special time of rejoicing and expectancy. It is probably also the time of year in which Jesus was born in.

    • Chanukah
The Feast of Dedication celebrates the rededication of the Temple following the second-century BC victory of the Hasmoneans over the Greeks who had erected pagan idols in the Temple. Though there is no specific commandment in the Tanach regarding this festival, Jesus celebrated it, and it is mentioned in John 10:22.

    • Pesach
Passover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread, celebrates God's redemption of His people through the Exodus from Egypt. This can be presented in two ways:
      1. A presentation of the symbolism of the festival (1-1½ hours)
      2. Experience the last supper with a complete seder celebration including music and a five course meal. (4 hours)

    • The Counting of the Omer
A study on the period of time between Passover and Pentecost and its great spiritual insight.

    • Shavu'ot
Pentecost, which is celebrated fifty days following Passover, is traditionally associated with the giving of the Torah at Mt. Sinai. In the New Testament, it is seen in connection with the coming of the Holy Spirit.

    • Tisha'h Be Av
An indepth study of the day that commemorates the destruction of the first and second temples. This study also includes other tragedies within Jewish history.

Any of the above seminars can be booked in many different ways by an organization or a home study group. In order to pursue any of the sessions mentioned above, please contact us.
