What is H.I.M.?
The Hope of Israel (H.I.M.) is an educational, non-profit organization incorporated in California, USA specializing in teaching the Jewish Roots of the Bible. Over the course of 30 years, our teachers have given thousands of lectures internationally in universities, churches, Bible groups and before anyone interested in learning more about Judaism.
Over the years, we have found ourselves expanding our audio library and now in 2008 this consists of roughly 1,200 different titles available for ordering. Some of these are available through our online catalog and new titles are frequently added. You will find in-depth teachings on the various books of the Bible as well as lectures on the various Biblical feasts, and many other Biblical themes.
Motivated by their love and concern for G-d's people, H.I.M. was founded in 1980 by Danny and Rivi Litvin. Biblical research and Jewish studies became the ongoing focus for their lives as they pursued their vision of teaching about G-d's heart for Israel. Over the years they authored two books, and toured internationally, speaking in many different venues. Many of these seminars and lectures have been recorded and are available through H.I.M.'s extensive audio CD catalog.
In December 1986, Danny suffered a sudden and fatal heart attack. Following a period of mourning and seeking direction, Rivi was compelled to carry out the work she and Danny began together. Under Rivi's leadership as President, H.I.M, has grown into an international organization that continues to teach those who are looking to broaden their vision and to pursue G-d's word.
